On Tuesday, September 22, 2020 Mr. Charles Redmond of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Edgerton, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 89 years. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Lavina of Wainwright; three children, Brad Tribe of Edgerton, Beverly (Jim) Hansen of Bluffton, Alberta, Bernice (Bill) Roberts of Wainwright; his four nephews and two nieces, Gordon Brassington, Dave Brassington, Leslie Russell, Ron Brassington, Barry Kirby, Eva Waterfield; nine grandchildren, Ceanna (Riley) Sjoquist, Shawn (Katie) Rennie, Kurits (Crystal) Rennie, Angela Hill, Brent (Nancy) Hansen, Kurt Hansen, Lindsay (Troy) Teeter, Kyle (Katelyn) Roberts, Kamille (Ryley) Andersen; eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Nellie Kirby, Muriel Brassington, Eva Chambers; his brother, Bill Redmond and his infant twin brother. A Funeral service for Charlie will be conducted on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Edgerton Agricultural Hall. This service has limited seating availability due to the current restrictions. If you are wishing to attend please contact our office at 780-842-4211. Their will be a live webcast of the service, however, due to the limited wifi in the hall we cannot guarantee it will work. In the event we lose a signal the service will be uploaded to the website by 4:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Edgerton Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Health Foundation CT Scanner project.
