<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Dominic "Mickey" Leonard Pelle, 87, of Concord, passed away on September 21, 2020 in Concord, NC.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Mickey was born on February 10, 1933 to Bruno and Teresa (Sorbara) Pelle in Carnegie, PA. He was preceded in death by siblings, Julia Capogreco and Fran Pelle; and daughter, Lenore Scott.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">On September 11, 2009, Mickey married Cindy in the shadow of the Cherry Grove pier. Mickey and Cindy lived in Concord, NC.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">M</span></span><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">ickey worked as a professional photographer and enjoyed many years photographing his family. He was a member of the U.S Navy serving eight years and receiving the National Defense Service medal and the Good Conduct medal. He was an avid shag dancer and spent much time promoting and enjoying the dance. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Mickey is survived by his loving spouse of 11 years, Cindy; siblings, Anna Schirripa, Rose Trombetta, and Dr. Joe Pelle; children, Deborah Bell, Joseph Bruno Pelle, Tina Caldwell and Anna Berry. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">A memorial gathering will be planned in the future. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Pelle family.</span></span></p>Obituary
