Gary Wayne Palmer

Gary Wayne Palmer, age 71 years, passed away on Monday September 21, 2020. He was born on December 22, 1948 in Michigan to John T. and Annie M. (Nee Palmer) Palmer. He was raised in Waukegan, Il., spent his summers in Alabama, and graduated from Waukegan High School Class of ‘67’. He served in the US Army, and later retired from Gehl Co as a welder. On June 27, 1992 Gary married Virginia M. Seelig. Gary enjoyed fishing, was an artist, playing banjo, snake hunting in his youth in Alabama, and received his Marksmanship Award in the Army. Gary is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny", stepchildren Laura (Mark) Lang, Scott (Tara) Seelig, grandchildren, Joshua, Logan, the late Connor Lang, Skyler (fiancé Ashley) Seelig and Samantha Seelig, and 2 great-grandchildren Oliver and Eliza Mae Seelig. He is further survived by his sister Mary Ellen (John) McDaniel, sisters-in-law Patsy Palmer, Susan (Dennis) Kleinke, Lori (Brian) Daberkow, brothers-in-law Raymond (Chris) Bannenberg, Steven (Debbie) Bannenberg, Jeffrey (Sheri) Bannenberg, Brent Bannenberg, many nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roger Palmer. Funeral Services for Gary will be held at 12:00pm on Monday September 28th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr West Bend). Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00am until 11:45am. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery in Kewaskum. The family would like to thank the rest of the family for all the support they gave, the neighbors, Ginny’s 3 BFF girlfriends.
