Frederick J. Otters, age 82, of Steven’s Point, passed away at Brookdale Assistant Living on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 under the tender care of Heartland Hospice. Fred was born on June 9, 1938; the son of Author and Theresa (Yach) in Milwaukee, WI. Fred was united in marriage to Esther Acken on May 13, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI. Together they had five children and later divorced. He then married Rosemary( Fisher) Toelle on Oct. 2, 2007 in Adams, WI. Fred served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed motorcycles, and hunting. Most importantly he enjoyed having parties and spending time with his family. He will greatly be missed. Fred is survived by his wife: Rosemary; five children: Timothy (Erin) of Mayville, WI, Theresa (Ken) Karsten of St. Cloud, WI, Christopher (Carolyn) of Horicon, WI, Randolph (Kelly) of Hartland, WI, and Patricia Otters of Clyman, WI; seven grandchildren: Megan Otters, Heather (Lydell) Brown, Erin (Jeremy)Propson, David (Heidi) Otters, Kayla (Jeremy) Otters, Amber Otters, and Rudy Otters; and three great-grandchildren: Jaxon Brown, Ella Otters, and Bennett Propson. He is further survived by his step children: Sheryl (John) Castillo, Brian (Susan) Toelle, and Mark (Christy) Toelle; a daughter-in-law: Kris Toelle; 16 step-grandchildren: Kyle (Mae) Judd, Scott (Lisa) Judd, Abbie Vance, Ezra Toelle, Caleb Toelle, Zachary Toelle, Rachael Toelle, Adam (Megan) Lee, Marcus Toelle, Mason Toelle, Marshal (Marissa) Toelle, Isabel Toelle, Alicia (Nick) Wyss, Jordan McGuire, Morgan (Trever) Reichoff, and Elizabeth (Justin) Norder; nine step-great-grandchildren: Bear Judd, Joelle Judd, Oliver Lee, Brogan Toelle, Lucie Wyss, Lilley Wyss, Brantley Wyss, Kenadie Norder and Kye Norder; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son: Michael Toelle; step-daughter: Rhonda Toelle, and step-granddaughter: Kayla Toelle.
