LITTLETON, Victoria Patricia Higgins, On Monday, September 21, 2020 Victoria Patricia Higgins, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at the age of 80.Victoria was born on May 24, 1940 in Indianbrook, Nova Scotia, Canada. She worked as an Education Director for Boston Indian Council affiliated with the Boston Public Schools for many many years. She worked for the Aroostook Band on Micmacs and also served a couple terms as the Chief of the Aroostook Band of Micmacs. Victoria was known for her infectious smile and her kind compassionate spirit. She was loved and respected by many who knew her. Victoria is survived by; her husband Patrick Higgins of Littleton, her daughters Louise, Kathleen(Kathy), her sons; Duffy, Danny and Mark Higgins, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several God-children. Sisters Nancy(Tom) Lutz, Jenny Howe and Marie Amero. Victoria was predeceased by her parents, Ernest & Bridget Howe, a son Mark Lawrence Howe; brothers Thomas Howe, Gordon Howe, Joseph Howe and Lawrence Howe and a sister Rita Stephens. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday September 24,2020 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street in Houlton.
