James Bailey "JB" Harp

James Bailey "JB" Harp, age 83, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He operated Munfordville Milling Company for 32 years and loved to farm with his family. After he retired he assisted his wife in caring for children. He was the son of the late Otis Harp and the late Mary Wilkerson Harp. He was also preceded in death by a brother Howard Harp and a nephew Calvin Harp.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Barbara Faye Harp; one daughter, Teresa Gramlin (Donald), Horse Cave, KY; one granddaughter, Leslee Ballard (Elvis), Munfordville, KY; one great granddaughter, Cayley Ballard, Munfordville KY; two sisters, Ersilla Thompson (Otto), Munfordville, KY, Diane Williams (Harold), Munfordville, KY; one brother, Owen Harp (Lucille), Munfordville, KY; one sister-in-law, Nelda Harp, Munfordville, KY.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM CT Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Benningfield and Bro Scott Coats officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
