On Monday, September 21, 2020, Heaven received an angel with a smile on his face as big as Texas. Our Savior collected A.J.’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
A.J. Johnson, the oldest son born August 10, 1949, in Waxahachie, Texas to Jack and Nettie Johnson. He enjoyed fishing, dominos, grilling B.B.Q., watching the Dallas Cowboy games, working, sitting, and sleeping in his backyard, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and carving holiday turkeys.
A.J. was reunited with his father, Jack; mother Nettie; brother Earl and sister Shirley.
Those left to cherish his memories are; his lovely wife of 40 plus years Ora Lee aka “Sugar Plum”, four children; Billy Hollman (LaTasha), Sylvia Bettis (James), Tonie Lohdi, and his baby girl Patrece Choice (Orlando); brothers; Jimmie, Cany aka "Deek", and Sammy; eight grand-children, four great-grand children, and a host of family and friends.
