Ralph Goodman Passed away on September 18, 2020 of an apparent heart attack in Lac La Belle. He was born in Calumet, Michigan on November 29, 1929 to Ellen (Larson) and Jalmer Goodman. After graduation he served 2 years in the U.S. Army, some of which was served in Germany. There he met his wife Anita Vorman. After returning from the service he worked for the C&H mining company in the local mines. He also worked for Griffin's, Swift Hardware and Michigan Tech where he retired from. Ralph was a legend in the keweenaw for his hunting and fishing..most of his hunting was done in the Lac La Belle area where his camp is that he and his wife Anita built from the bottom up. He also traveled to Isle Royal, Idaho, Washington, Iowa and his dream trip to Alaska which was made possible by his good friend Pete Balma and family. He loved dancing which he did often. He was preceded in death by his wife Anita, his parents, a brother Elmer, 2 sisters Eleanor and Helen. He's survived by a son John Goodman, a daughter Cindy (Steve) Kyllonen , 3 grandchildren Jen (Tony) Hatala, Steven (Sherry White) Tarvis, Michael (Jen) Tarvis 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. He's also survived by dear friend and companion Dorothy Dault. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
