Carol Ann Coupland age 76 from Lakeland, Florida left this world on Monday September 21 at the Lakeland Highlands Center. Carol was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Andrew and Elizabeth Janosco. Carol graduated from Community Collage of Allegheny County with a LPN in nursing and worked for the Little Sisters of the Poor Senior Home. Carol was married to Mark Coupland for 37 years, and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., Corinth Texas, Plum Boro Pa, and Lakeland Florida. While living in Corinth, Texas, Carol enjoyed working for Godiva Chocolates as a Store Manager in the famous Galleria Mall. Carol would always come home and tell stories of which famous people she was able to sell Godiva Chocolates. While in Texas Carol was a constant volunteer for working the polls on Election Day. Carol was also involved with the Local Toy Drive for under privileged children. Back in Pittsburgh, Carol became a Penn State Master Gardener, and loved being President for the Plum Boro Garden Club. Carol continued her volunteering at the Polls and supervised several of the elections. Carol became an avid Knitter and hosted a knitting club for women in the area. Carol was always proud of her knitting stash. Carol is survived by her Husband and best friend Mark Coupland, of Lakeland Fl. Her children David and Lynda (Hess) Docherty, and Elizabeth and Barry (deceased) Spurr. Carols 4 Grand Children and 4 Great Grand Children whom she loved dearly. Siblings Andrew and Florence Janosco of Florida, Bernie Janosco (deceased) of Pa, Jerry Janosco of Florida, and William Janosco of Massachusetts. Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, no services will be held at this time. Donations should be made to either the Joe Biden for President Campaign or the American Cancer Society.
