Richard Lee Lowdermilk, Sr.

<p><strong>Richard Lee Lowdermilk Sr., 75, of Arthurdale (Dogtown Community), entered into eternal rest on Monday September 21, 2020 from his home. </strong></p> <p><strong>He was born on April 28, 1945; he was a son of the late Ernest Paul and Goldie Marie (Robinson) Lowdermilk.&nbsp; </strong></p> <p><strong>Richard honorably served his country in the United States Army. During his later years of employment prior to retirement, he worked as a truck driver for Lowe&rsquo;s. </strong></p> <p><strong>He is survived by his loving daughters, Lora Humphrey and Tammy Clark (Edward), all of Masontown. He is also survived by a brother, Wade &ldquo;Buck&rdquo; Lowdermilk (Libby), of Masontown; two sisters: Maxine Gibson, of Masontown, and Ilene Livengood (Bill), of Fairchance; four grandchildren: Justin Clark, Hope Clark, Gregory Humphrey, Jr. and William Humphrey; and two great-grandchildren, Austin DeBerry and Rocky Bart Shoemaker. </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diana (Radabaugh) Lowdermilk, in 2002; his son, Richard Lee Lowdermilk, Jr., in 1970; four brothers: Eddie, Clyde Warren, Ernest Paul &ldquo;Skeeter,&rdquo; and Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Lowdermilk; and a sister, Eleanor Taylor.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville on Sunday September 27, 2020 from Noon until the time of the 4 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. A dinner will follow at the Bretz Community Center for those wishing to attend. </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Richard will be laid to rest in the Hillside Memorial Gardens in Gainesville, GA at later date. </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Morgan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lowdermilk family.</strong></p>

Richard Lee Lowdermilk Sr., 75, of Arthurdale (Dogtown Community), entered into eternal rest on Monday September 21, 2020 from his home.
