Nathan A. Blake, age 43 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 10:25 am, in his residence.

Born June 6, 1977 in New Albany, Indiana, he was the son of Tim Blake and Laura (Dowdle) Brooks.

Nathan was a life resident of Washington County and was a member of the 1995 graduating class of Eastern High School in Pekin.

He was previously employed at GKN in Salem and Koetter Woodworking in Borden. He also worked as a sub-contractor with many construction

companies in Washington County.

 

He loved camping, hiking and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen.  

 

Survivors include:   

Mother: Laura (Terry) Brooks of Pekin, Indiana;  

Son: Jaxon Blake of Pekin, Indiana;    

Sister: Heather (David) Jacobi of Borden, Indiana;   

Sister: Tara (Ben) Miller of Pekin, Indiana;   

Stepmother: Denise Blake of Louisville, Kentucky.      

Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews .  

 

He was preceded in death by: his father Tim Blake and a sister Kara Brooks.

 

Visitation: 1 to 4 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 4:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home

Interment will be Private at the convenience of the Family
