Mr. Leroy Douglas Galloway, 82 of Mount Airy, NC was called to his heavenly home on September 11, 2020 at W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. He was born on October 3, 1937 in Surry County, NC. He was a graduate of JJ Jones High School in Mount Airy, NC, Leroy was also a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters Mary Galloway and Addie Galloway, 6 brothers, Jessie Galloway Jr., John Galloway, Bobby Ray Galloway, James Galloway, Lonza Galloway and Herbert Galloway. He leaves his memories his nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00am September 19, 2020 at Spencer Funeral Home, Bishop Tony O. Carter will be the eulogist and burial will follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens, Mount Airy, NC. Public viewing will be from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Friday September 18, 2020 at Spencer Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Spencer Funeral Home.
