Dimas "Dean" Estrada

<p>Dimas &ldquo;Dean&rdquo; Estrada, 67, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital in Martinsville, IN as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born October 28, 1952 in Flagstaff, AZ and lived in Princeton for the past 8 years, coming from El Paso, TX. Dean served a 22-year career in the U. S. Army and retired in 1994 and was a member of the V.F.W. No. 2714 in Fort Branch. He was an active member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, where he was always ready to serve, doing anything that was needed and undoubtedly touched and nurtured many lives for the Lord. He was also active in the Christian Motorcycle Association.</p> <p>Dean is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diana (Michel) Estrada of Princeton; Juanita Castaneda, the mother of his children, Jenni &ldquo;Becky&rdquo; Estrada (Roger Hexiquio)&nbsp;of Phoenix, AZ and Dimas Michael Estrada (DeAnna) of Lawton, OK; Gloria Estrada, the mother of his children, Priscilla Campos (Ivan) of Las Cruces, NM and Lizset Estrada of Anthony, NM; 9 grandchildren, Samantha, Valerie, Christian, Christianna, Ezra, Andrea, Adiel, Azael and Anahy; 2 great grandchildren, Xavier and Xander; 3 siblings, Faustino Estrada Jr. of Cottonwood, AZ, Grace Romero and Donna Gardner both of Phoenix, AZ.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino R. Estrada Sr. and Dolores (Griego) Gardner; and a sister, Elaine Gardner.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Hillside United Methodist Church, 828 W. Archer Road, Princeton, IN 47670, with Pastor Curtis Bond officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday. Due to COVID-19 mandates by the state, social distancing must be observed, with limited seating and masks must be worn. Military rites will be provided by Retired Military Veterans. The service will be livestreamed online at www.hillsideprinceton.org. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso at a later date.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to Hillside U. M.
