Ms. Patricia Authier Mayeux, 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Pensacola, FL on Wednesday, March 31, 1937 to Edward Eugene Authier and Mildred Ethel Authier. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was retired from Tulane Medical Center as a Microbiologist . Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Edward Eugene Authier; mother, Mildred Ethel Authier; and son, Peter John Mayeux. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Mayuex Cochran, Waynesboro, MS; brother, Edward Eugene "Peter" Authier (Rosemari), Raleigh, NC; 2 grandsons, Justin Cochran, New Orleans, LA, Steven Cochran, Slidell, LA; 2 granddaughters, Leanne Weaver, Brooklyn, NY, Patricia Elise Warren, New Orleans, LA; 4 great grandchildren, Leah, Juliana, Harper, and Cain. A Graveside Service for Patricia will be held at 12:20 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Father Ignacio Jimenez-Morales officiating. The family asks that anyone in attendance please wear a mask and practice social distancing. A public Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
