James B. Carl, age 77, of Jacksonville, Il. died early Monday (September 21, 2020) at his residence. He was born April 19, 1943 in Jacksonville, Il. son of the late John H. and Rebecca Wingler Carl. He married Sandra Lee Hare in Jacksonville, Il. and she preceded him in death. Surviving are sons, Kevin W. Carl and Greg B. Carl both of Jacksonville, Il. and James B. Carl of Murrayville, Il.; and several grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Jean Carl; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers, John H. Carl and William G. Carl. Mr. Carl spent many years as a truck driver. Private services will be held at a later date. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Il. is assisting the family with arrangements.
