Ruth Ellen Shaw (nee Sanders), Entered the Lord’s presence on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at age 75. Beloved wife of Lawrence “Bob” Robert Shaw of 57 years; loving mother of Tammy (Terry) Hill and Bob (Molly) Shaw; cherished grandmother of Terry “T.J." Hill, Jr., Zach Shaw, Tyler Hill and Kayla (Garrett) O’Daniel; great-grandmother of Asher O’Daniel; loving aunt of Candy (Jeff) Wilkinson; dear daughter of the late Elmer Francis and Dorothy Marie Sanders; dear sister of Kenneth Sanders, Rose Adams, Mabel Ann (Jack) Cunio, Jack (Margie) Sanders and the late Russel Sanders, Les Sanders, Robert Sanders, and Thomas Sanders; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Ruth was an active member of Geyer Road Baptist Church. Volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and spent many years working with children in AWANA. No matter who you were, she always made you feel special. Ruth was thrilled to become a great-grandmother of Asher. Visitation Thursday, September 24, from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., in Kirkwood.
