<p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>Norma Jean Matheson</strong></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>March 30, 1946 – September 18, 2020</strong></em></p> <p>It is with deep sadness the family of Norma Jean Matheson announce her passing on Friday, September 18, 2020.</p> <p>Norma leaves to cherish her memory, her husband George, three daughters; Wendy Strickland and her children, Nathan and Andrew; Robin Cowley and her children, Randy and Alex; Susan (Robert) Cottam and her children Camron, Corey and Caden; step daughter Margo Matheson (Corey Reynolds) and their children, Hannah and Gabrielle; two brothers, Jim (Doreen) Hadley and Murray (Nancy) Hadley as well as many relatives and friends.</p> <p>Norma was predeceased by her first husband Wayne Cowley and her second husband John Rice.</p> <p>A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 1:30 at Super 8, 3727-50 St., Drayton Valley.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>Norma was loved by all and will greatly be missed</strong></em></p> <p>If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Drayton Valley Health Services Foundation, (Palliative Care), 4550 Madsen Ave., Drayton Valley, AB T7A 1N8</p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align: center;">Drayton Valley Funeral Services in care of arrangements</p> <p style="text-align: center;">780-542-5511</p>Obituary
