Linda Mae Huynh of Weirton passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 19, at Acuity Specialty Hospital of the Ohio Valley after a long battle with Lymphoma-related complications. She was 63 years old. Linda was born in Weirton on October 9, 1956, to the late Dwayne and Jessie Pearl Kirkpatrick. Additionally, preceding Linda in death were her brothers, Leroy and Larry Kirkpatrick. She was a graduate of Brooke High School in 1975 and enjoyed making a home for her family. Linda’s family, who are left to cherish her memory, are her husband of thirty-eight years, Van Thai Huynh, daughter Laura Elizabeth Huynh of Wheeling, brothers Lonnie Kirkpatrick of Colliers and Donnie Kirkpatrick of Newell, and sister-in-law Sue Kirkpatrick of Colliers. Friends and relatives are welcome to visit with Linda’s family Wednesday, September 23, from 11 am to the 1 pm service. Pastor Scott Mapes from the Colliers United Methodist Church will celebrate Linda’s life. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Colliers.
