Billy Darwin Breland, age 82 of Moss Point, MS passed away Friday, September 18, 2020. He was born in Lucedale, MS to the late Oytt C. and Laura Cooper Pinter Breland on August 4, 1938. Billy proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked for 40 years and retired from International Paper Company in Moss Point, MS. He enjoyed dancing, walking, all sports activities, and creating great memories fishing with his children. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and mother of his children, Stephanie Coppenbarger Breland, his second wife, Margaret Hoskins Breland, and his brother, James Darrell Breland. He is survived by his sons, Danny Breland and Rick Breland; siblings, Eunice Faye Bond, June (Jim) Whatley, and Brian (Janice) Breland; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Mike) Smith, Steve (Tish) MacInnis, David Breland, Paul (Stephanie) Breland, Brent (Karen) Bond. A visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Dantzler Memorial First United Methodist Church with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Steve MacInnis officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Serene Memorial Gardens cemetery. Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, a face mask is required to attend the services and the number of visitors in the building may be limited at any given time.
