Joshua “Josh” Ihde, 53, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on the morning of Friday, September 18, 2020 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa surrounded by his wife and children. A memorial visitation for Josh will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with care for Josh and his family. Joshua Healy Ihde was born October 8, 1966 to Margaret Ihde (Lyons) in Quarry, Iowa. He was raised in the town of Quarry and attended school at LDF and graduated in 1985. On April 16, 2011, Josh was united in marriage to his wife Amy Stansbury at the Union Church of Christ.  He was a construction truck driver for Con-Struct. In his free time, Josh enjoyed Fishing, watching cooking shows and making attempts at cooking, watching NASCAR, hanging out with his buddies and spending time with his family. Left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife Amy Ihde; children, Samantha Ihde-Rix, Laura (Joe) Ihde, Khristyna (Billy) Ihde, Lucas (Emma) McLean and Abby (Keenan) McLean; his grandchildren, Matthew Barnhart, Tegan Barnhart, Kyle Peerenboom, Jacob Snider, Sara Snider, Jena Snider, Beckett VerSteegh, Paisley VerSteegh, Hayliee VerSteegh, Bennett VerSteegh and Carson McLean; his siblings, Catherine (Richard) Coppock, Matt (Kristi) Ihde, Ben (Bonnie) Ihde, Gideon Ihde, Sam (Amy) Ihde, Pete (Yanett) Ihde; his sister-in-law Deb Ihde; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Ihde; his brother Joseph Ihde; and grandson Beuford VerSteegh
