Martha D. Miller age 84 passed away Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Vanderbilt Hospital. She was married to Uria D. J. Miller on December 9, 1954. She was the daughter of the late David E. Miller & Sarah Gingerich Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son David Miller, a daughter Mary Miller, brothers Dan Miller (Mary), Allen Miller, a sister Barbara Slabaugh(Ervin), a grandchild & 3 great-grandchildren. Surviving are her husband-Uria D. J. Miller, her children -Daniel Miller(Katie), Bill Miller(Susie), Barbara Byler(Daniel), Susie Byler(Mahlon) and Sara; brothers and sisters-Emma Brown, Eli Miller(Martha), Joe Miller(Elizabeth), David Miller, Jr.(Barbara), Sarah Miller(Melvin), Mary Byler(Alvin), Mary Ann Miller(Andy J.); 30 grandchildren and 80 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law- Ida Miller, son-in-law-Clarence Miller, sister-in-law-Elizabeth Miller Funeral service for Martha D. Miller will be 9am Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the residence of Uria Detweiler in Horse Cave with burial to follow in the Millers Cemetery. Visitation is continuous at the residence of 1000 Walker Stewart Rd., Horse Cave, KY. The family entrusted Sego Funeral Home to assist them with the funeral arrangements.
