Mary Lois Baggett McLamb, 91, of Wade died Sunday morning September 20, 2020 at Cornerstone Nursing & Rehab in Dunn. Mrs. McLamb was born January 17, 1929 in Sampson County daughter of Aldon and Verta Lee Baggett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Lee McLamb; daughter, Melinda Medlin and brothers, Johnny and Dwight Baggett. Mrs. Baggett was a 1946 graduate of Clement High School and graduate of the former Hank Hannah Beauty School in Dunn. She was a self-employed hairdresser and a member of Center Baptist Church in Wade. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hickson and Rev. Joey Cantrell officiating. She is survived by her son-in-law, Donald Medlin; grandson, Christopher Medlin both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brothers, Howard O. Baggett of Godwin, Larry Robert Baggett and wife Linda of Godwin; sister, Betty B. Picard of Greensboro; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday at Center Baptist Church in Wade. Memorials may be made to Center Baptist Church, 4210 Center Church Rd., Wade.
