Joy Lynn Miles

Joy Lynn Miles, age 51, passed away on September 19, 2020 in Castle Dale, Utah. She was born November 27, 1968 in Simi Valley, California to Ken Wallace and Diane Roads Wallace Ferguson. Joy married Lynn Miles on February 14, 1998 in Cedar City, Utah. Later sealed in the Provo City Center Temple on March 7, 2020. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing and riding ATVs. Her favorite place in the mountains was Pete’s Hole. She crocheted and adored her dog. She loved canning the garden harvest. She enjoyed doing family history. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She even knew how to operate farm equipment. She is survived by her husband Lynn Miles of Castle Dale; mother Diane (Don) Ferguson of Ferron; brothers Alden (Berta) Smith and C J Wallace; daughter Diana Joy (Ryan) Jacobs of St. George, Utah; step-children Jessica (Dane) Marsh of Springville, Utah, Samantha Hamner of Saratoga Springs, Utah, Jason Hamner of Taylorsville, Utah and David Hamner of Portland, Oregon; step-grandchildren Erica Visser, Shasha Visser, Justin Marsh and Austin Marsh; brother-in-law Richard (Bonnie) Miles and sister-in-law Marie (Mike) Greenan. Preceded in death by her father; two stillborns; mother-in-law Sharon Gale Miles; and sister-in-law Marcia Farnsworth. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Orangeville Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
