Col. Mark T. Finch, Jr. (USAF Ret.) passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Mark was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He had served his Country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and the Viet Nam War. He retired after thirty-one years of service as a Colonel in the Judge Advocate Office. He then entered private practice after twenty years from the Finch & Wicht Law Firm of Hattiesburg. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Anne Marie Finch; a granddaughter, Katie Feix; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Finch; his parents, Mark and Mary Finch, Sr.; and a sister, Mary Katherine Finch. He is survived by his wife, Myra Finch of Hattiesburg; a son, Mark Finch of Dublin, Ireland; two daughters, Mary Katherine Feix of Enfield, NH, Andrea (Scott) Lawson of Denver, CO; son-in-law, Lloyd Schwing of Covington, LA; three grandsons, William Feix, Derek Lawson and Kevin Lawson.
