David Gordon Diedrich, of Arvada, Colorado passed away at the Collier Hospice Center on September 16, 2020. David was born on September 9, 1951 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Gordon and Joy (Ryland) Diedrich. He graduated from Liberal High School (Liberal, Kansas) in 1970. David received a Business Administration degree from West Texas State University in 1974 where he also played football.

          On October 22, 1992 he married Carla (Ham) Reynolds in Golden, Colorado. David was an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth. He loved to ski Copper Mountain. He and Carla also enjoyed hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains. They loved white water rafting.

          David is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Joy Diedrich, and sister Kim Diedrich.

         He is survived by his wife, Carla of Arvada, Colorado, son Brian Diedrich of Wichita, Kansas, step-children Tyson (Jessica) Kier of Gibbon, Nebraska, Christina (Eric) Frei of Silt, Colorado, brother Brian (Dana) Diedrich of Perryton, Texas, sister Renae McCaulley of Dallas, Texas, sister-in-law Phyllis (Mike) Bowling of Casa Grande, Arizona, sister-in-law Charline (Jerrell) Gerdes of Franklin, Nebraska, 13 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

          David chose cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
