Raymond Faulkner

Calais & Island Falls – Raymond E. Faulkner, 78, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 surrounded by family at Houlton Regional Hospital. After graduating high school in Island Falls, Ray worked for the Island Falls Hardware until enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. Following his service, he returned home and went back to work for Island Falls Hardware until starting his career in the service department at Pratt Ford in Millinocket. In 1978, Ray relocated to Calais to help set up the new Pratt Ford location where he served as the service manager. He eventually returned to Millinocket where he retired from Perley Wheaton Ford. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Ray was predeceased by his wife Sheila (Drew) Faulkner; and their daughter, Sherry Lindsay. Surviving are his son, Raymond D. Faulkner and wife Lana of Baring Plt; son-in-law Fred Lindsay of East Millinocket; five grandchildren, Chris Faulkner and wife Danielle of Baileyville, Nathan Faulkner and companion Erin Cyr of Baileyville, Brittany Carver and husband Daulton of East Millinocket, Chelsey Faulkner and companion Mike Splan of Island Falls, and Taylor McLaughlin of Medway; five great-grandchildren, Noah, Gabby, Makennah, Gavin and Ryleigh; many nieces and nephews; and dear family friend, Mary Pipes of Island Falls. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
