Pamela “Pam” Gearhart, 75, of Woolstock died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. No services will be held at this time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted in caring for the family. Pamela Rae Richardson was born March 19, 1945 in Clarion, Iowa to Paul Richardson and Eunice Gwendola Jaques. She graduated from Clarion High School in 1963. Pam was united in marriage to Harold Busick on July 3, 1964 in Nashua, Iowa. They moved to Seattle, Washington in the summer of 1967 with their first two children, Michael and Tracy. While in Seattle, they had two more children, Barry and Chris. Pam worked for Neighborhood House, a Seattle non-profit and as a legal secretary for two law firms. In August 1990, the couple moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa. A few years after Harold’s death, Pam married Ron Gearhart on November 1, 1995 in Webster City, Iowa. The couple resided in Woolstock, Iowa. Pam worked for the City of Woolstock as a city clerk until her retirement in April 2020. She will be missed by her husband, Ron; her children, Michael (Dawn), Tracy, Barry (Kelly), Chris; her four-legged fur friend, Sadie and numerous extended family and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold; her parents, and brother, Dennis Richardson. Pam enjoyed traveling (Florida, Pacific Northwest, and the Midwest), music (blues, rock, and country), movies, watching television, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, and quilting. Her children recall her as one the smartest people alive and one the nicest.
