Mr. Earl Franklin, 77, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Saturday.  

He grew up in Tennessee but had lived in Toney for many years.  He had retired from SCI and was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his five brothers and one sister.  

He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Franklin;  His son, Jeff Franklin;  His daughter, Tracie Franklin;  His grandson, Shae Franklin;  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Bro. Jerry Hovis officiating.
