Norman Lee Venden

<p>Norman L. Venden was born to Olen and Dorothy Venden April 10, 1943, and was welcomed into Jesus&#39; arms September 15, 2020.</p> <p>He met the love of his life, Linda Hanson, and they were married December 28, 1996. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of almost 24 years and two sons, Eric (Sandra) and Scott. He is also survived by three grandchildren whom he adored; Michaela, Phoebe, and Corban. Two sisters also survive him and numerous cousins and friends.</p> <p>He worked for Nelson Industries for many years as a purchasing agent, he then changed careers and was with the WI State Patrol for 16 years before retiring and worked part-time until completely retiring. Norman was very active in our community for many years. He sang in church choirs sharing his beautiful bass voice spreading God&#39;s word, served on church councils, sang in our local community choir and played saxophone in our local band, served on the City Council. He was fortunate to be able to travel with the band to Norway and played in several performances in Oslo. He was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for our city for many years. He was proud of his lifetime membership in the Masons.</p> <p>The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Cedar Lake United Methodist Church, Biloxi, with a visitation starting at 10:00 am.</p> <p>RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, is serving the family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Norman L. Venden was born to Olen and Dorothy Venden April 10, 1943, and was welcomed into Jesus' arms September 15, 2020.
