Kimo Allan Warren Obituary

Kimo Alan Warren, age 75, of Diamondhead Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kimo served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After marrying his wife Linda, the couple moved to Hawaii and lived there for several years where Kimo attended university, surfed the waves of the Pacific Ocean, and hiked picturesque island trails. Later, the couple moved to New York to raise a family. Kimo worked as a registered respiratory therapist in a local hospital until he retired and moved with Linda to Mississippi to be close to his children and grandchildren who live along the Gulf Coast. While in Mississippi he was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.

Throughout his life, Kimo had an artistic eye. He created, probably, one of the only Japanese gardens in his Upstate New York village. He elaborated beautiful stained-glass panels and lamps, sketched, carved, and painted.

He was preceded in death by his mother Harriett Warren and father Harris Warren. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Warren of Diamondhead, son Christopher Warren, (wife Luisa and daughter Alba), daughter Laura Hopkins, (husband Aaron Sr. and son Aaron Jr.), as well as his four brothers and their families.

Kimo was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Christian burial will be held at the discretion of the family.
