Zofia Kolkiewicz

Zofia Kolkiewicz (née Bialek) age 92, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family, on Friday September 18, 2020. 

Born in Wola Kapcowa, Poland, to Piotr and Staniswawa Bialek, Mrs. Kolkiewicz resided in Maplewood for many years and most recently Union.  Mrs. Kolkiewicz worked for many years on the assembly line for Jabel Inc. of Irvington. 

She is survived by her three daughters; Elizabeth Lachowski and her husband Zibignew, Theodora Kowalczyk and Bozena Kolkiewicz; two sisters; Helena Szczypala and Bronislawa Golojuch; five grandchildren; Ziggy, Renee, Monica, Thomas, and Eric; eight great grandchildren; Zachary, Alexander, Allison, Julia, Morgan, Hunter, Emily, and Kayleigh.

Mrs. Kolkiewicz is predeceased by her beloved husband the late Eugeniusz Kolkiewicz (2002).

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday September 23, 2020, from 9-10 am at the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Avenue Clark, NJ 07066, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am from the Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
