A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday September, 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA for James Errol Guidry, 70, who passed away September 16, 2020 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley. Fr. Eddie Richard, pastor of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Soccor Parish Hall from 9:00 am to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum in Crowley, LA He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine Doucet Guidry of Sulphur, three children, Tina Marie Guidry and her spouse, Ashley of Sulphur, Aaron James Guidry of Sulphur, and Lisa Guidry and her spouse Adrianne of Sulphur; three sisters, Sherry G. Rue and her husband Byron of Crowley, Joan G. Huesers and her husband Joseph of Lafayette, and Donna L. Guidry of Lafayette; and seven grandchildren, Christopher, P.J., David, Seth, Emma, J.J., and Ashtin. James is preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Hazel Simon Guidry.
