Ernest Glen Smith Obituary

Ernest "Ernie" Glen Smith, 65, died of natural causes on September 16, 2020, at home.

Ernie was born June 14, 1955, to Floyd and Stephannie Smith in Havre. He married Ruth Stuker in Chinook on June 10, 1983, and cherished their time together with family and friends, caring for their pets, camping and fishing, living in the country and watching the evening sky together. His wife Ruth passed away in 2009.

Ernie was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed working hard to achieve his self employment. You could count on his help and he would never quit until the job was done. Ernie always had a smile and could find humor in everything.

Ernie is survived by brothers, Eugene Smith and Clarence Smith of Yuma, AZ; Dave Smith, Benjamin "Charley" Smith and Steve Smith of Helena; sisters, Margaret (Tom) Robinson of Havre, Wanita Haines of Seattle, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Mike & Marion Colling, Stuker Family and many friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 at 2:00pm the Kuper Memorial Cemetery at Chinook. Funeral arrangements were entrusted with Wilderness Funeral Homes of Havre.
