John M. Bass, age 40 of North Pole, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his residence.

John was born on November 24, 1979 in Leavenworth, Kansas. He has also lived in Karlsruhe, Germany and Prentiss, Mississippi before moving to Alaska where he has lived the past 35 years. John was a loving son, brother, and father.

John is survived by his father, Thomas Bass of Delta Junction, brothers, Joachim Clauss of  Stuttgart, Germany, Robert J. Bass (Alma J. Bass) of Elma, WA, Eugene A. Bass of Delta Junction, and William D. Bass (Joni Bass) of Montgomery, MN, Children, Kamron Bass, Starla Bass, Jaydon Bass, Skylar Bass, and John M. Bass Jr. John was preceded in death by his Mother Ellen Bass (Clauss).

John will be laid to rest by his mother, Ellen, at a later date in Rest Haven Cemetery in Delta Junction.
