Harold "Buck Duane Lucas, 83, of Battle Creek, passed away on September 17, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 09, 1937 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Melvin and Alice Smith Lucas.
He married the love of his life Wanda Vest and sadly she preceded him in death on May 20, 2012.
Buck worked as an Inventory Specialist at Kellogg Cereal Company for 37 years, retiring in 1992.
Buck was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Society and was also active in the union at Kellogg's.
He loved to travel with his wife Wanda, go out to eat, his dog Tyrone, reading, working in his yard and flower garden's and especially spending time with his family. Buck will be missed by all who knew him for his sense of humor and just wanting to make people laugh and be comfortable.
Buck is survived by his children; Tina (Ivan) Wade of Avon, Indiana, Steven (Kendra) Lucas of Battle Creek, Michigan and Sheri Lucas of Battle Creek, Michigan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda Lucas, his siblings Donald Lucas, Mary Alice Hines and Ruby Mead.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
