We celebrate the wonderful life of Mark Ferguson who passed away in his home early Thursday Morning, September 10, 2020. He was 58 years old. Mark Ferguson was born October 19, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Lawrence Claybrooks and Ola G. Edwards. Both parents preceded him in death. Mark attended Marshall High School and Triton College where he played on the football team. He was passionate about electronics, cars, music and grooming his lawn to look like the finest plush carpet. Mark met Jessie Ferguson in Topeka, Kansas, they fell in love and were married on October 18, 2003 in Independence, Missouri. Mark and Jessie’s union was further enriched by his two amazing daughters Marquita and Ola Ferguson. Brothers and sisters who preceded him in death: Ordie Ferguson, Jesse Ferguson, Charles Ferguson, Gerald Ferguson, Wayne Ferguson, Viola Paschal, Vera Galloway, Audrey Ferguson, Christopher Claybrooks and Phillip Rawlings. Mark leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Jessie Ferguson of Raytown, Missouri; daughters, Marquita Ferguson and Ola Ferguson both of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Alfreda Johnson of St. Louis Missouri and Linda Jackson of Lawrence, Kansas; two brothers, Flemond Ferguson of Malan Tennessee and Timothy Ferguson of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Kayla Ferguson, Jayden Flanagan, Elijah Nowak and Aniyah Nowak all of Dallas, Texas; a vast number of cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a host of additional family and friends who loved him dearly.
