Marjarie Ann Strayer Obituary

My Mom, a leader, a teacher, and my best friend. She was so strong, amazingly beautiful, hardworking, honest, and full of determination. She was the best mother and grandmother we could have ever been given. There is no other like her. We have been so blessed to have spent all these wonderful years with her. I now know the time has come for me to share her. I love you mom to the moon and back again to infinity. Words could never describe how much you will be missed. XOXO Marjarie Ann Albertson Strayer, my wife and to all who knew her as “Marti” was wonderful in most every way except that she smoked which she tried desperately hard to overcome, but couldn’t . This is what took her from us and made her passing so painful for her and for us to witness. She was as her daughters described above quite an amazing person who always told you straight up how things were, but had such a loving, warm heart helping others along the way in whatever need they had. She put up with me and gave me a nickname of “Walter” with a Walter doll to go along with it. She will be deeply missed and in my thoughts until it’s time for me to follow her home.
