Tony Thackston of Goshen, OH. Born on December 8, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2020 at the age of 64. Loving brother of Jacqueline (David) Louderback, Sheila Hawk and the late Buck Thackston. Cherished son of the late Charles Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (nee Mullikin) Pollitt. Caring uncle of Tina Branch, James Jones, Patrick Jenson, Shannon Hawk and Justin Hawk. Dear great-uncle of Ryan Napier, Katie Calhoun, Kyle Napier, Nathan Tucker and Makenna Hawk. Great-great-uncle of Carter Calhoun, Kayden Tucker, Kinsley Tucker and Karaline Tucker. Also survived by his beloved dog and best friend, Ramsey and the late Bandit, who will be laid to rest in Tony's arms. Also survived by many dear friends and family. Tony was a loving, caring son, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He was very giving with his time to all his loved ones. Tony was an avid lover of animals, especially eagles. Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Goshen Cemetery, Goshen TWP, OH. In lieu of flowers, it was his request that you bring pet supplies or monetary contributions to the visitation/service to be donated to the Clermont County Animal Shelter.
