Donna Tucker

Loving Mother, Grandmother, & Friend Donna Jo Tucker, 81, of Maggie Valley, passed away at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde on September 16, 2020. A native of Haywood County, Donna was the daughter of the late Raymond & Virginia Blanton. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Abraham Fernandez & William Tucker and sister, Cynthia Hamilton. Donna is survived by her sons, Dexter (Eden) Rowland of CA and Roger (Janet) Fernandez of Waynesville; sisters, Vicky Stamey of Waynesville and Evelyn (William) Pruett; grandchildren, Josh and Aaron Fernandez; grand dog, Sophie; along with a niece, nephews, extended family and friends that she loved dearly. She was a loving and caring lady that enjoyed crafting, traveling, playing the piano, eating out, and gospel music. Donna was a social butterfly and the President of Residents Council at Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehab. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Reverend Jay Jones officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 PM.
