Terence (Terry) A Lowe

<p>Terence Aubry Lowe, June 11, 1940 &ndash; September 6, 2020</p> <p>Terry was born on June 11, 1940 in Seattle, WA to Bill and Virginia Lowe. He passed away at 80 years old from a Hemorrhagic Stroke on September 6, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital in Newport, OR surrounded by his loving family.</p> <p>Terry grew up in Seattle attending Queen Anne High, and later moved to Snohomish, WA, where his family bought a farm to raise racehorses. He graduated from Snohomish High in 1958. He enlisted, and spent the next 21 years serving in the United States Coast Guard, stationed along the West Coast from Ketchikan, Alaska to San Francisco, California. He was a survivor of the Jan. 12, 1961; Columbia River &ldquo;Triumph Mermaid Disaster&rdquo;.</p> <p>He married the Love of his Life Patricia Lee Evens in Ocean City, Washington in 1961. They raised two children (Terry and Robin Lowe) in Dublin, CA until he retired from the Coast Guard as E9 Master Chief in 1979. The family moved to his wifes&rsquo; hometown of Newport, OR and he spent the next 21 years working at GP Mill in Toledo. He retired at 62, but never slowed down. He was always looking for new hobbies to keep him busy. They included: woodworking, antler art, kayaking, winemaking, painting cars, and gardening. He loved classic cars, and motorcycles. He bought his first Harley at 79 years old. Terry was such an energetic, hardworking man with an absolute &ldquo;Heart of Gold&rdquo;. He had a quick wit, and his laughter was contagious. He loved that no one ever believed his age.</p> <p>He was proceeded in death by his Beloved 1st Grandson- Cody Ryan Lee; an infant daughter (Baby Robin in 1963); Younger brother Jimmy (who died in a car accident at 16); Older Brother William Jr., and his parents William Aubry Lowe, and Virginia Lavonne (Smith) Lowe, as well as his well- loved Labs (Brandy, Pepper, and Ebony).</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 59 years Patricia Lee (Evens) Lowe; Son-Terence Patrick Lowe (Christina), Daughter-Robin Renee&rsquo; (Lowe) Schriver (Michael), and Grandchildren: Emma Audrey Lowe, Colton James Lowe, Beaux Schriver (Kari), Danny Schriver; Great Grandchildren- Isaac, Alea, and Wyatt Schriver; Niece- Dana Suttell (Frank); Nephews- Billy Lowe, and Isaac Suttell, and Sister in law Ruth Lowe.</p> <p>He will be greatly missed! Due to the circumstances a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.</p>

Terence Aubry Lowe, June 11, 1940 – September 6, 2020

Terry was born on June 11, 1940 in Seattle, WA to Bill and Virginia Lowe. He passed away at 80 years old from a Hemorrhagic Stroke on September 6, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital in Newport, OR surrounded by his loving family.

Terry grew up in Seattle attending Queen Anne High, and later moved to Snohomish, WA, where his family bought a farm to raise racehorses. He graduated from Snohomish High in 1958.
