Elva Jean Murray, 75 of Mt. Clare, passed away on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1945 in Mt. Clare, WV; the daughter of the late Thomas and Victoria Everett Koch.

Elva was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts and quilting. She loved spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren.

Elva is survived by one son, Ralph (Rocky) Murray and wife Mary of Clarksburg; one granddaughter Emily Reed and husband Jonathon of Bridgeport; three great grandchildren, Paisley Ellison, Peyton and Parker Reed all of Bridgeport; siblings, Angeline Koch of Mt. Clare, Joseph Koch and wife Jean of Lost Creek, William Koch of Illinois; several nieces and nephews including a special nieces and nephews, Helen Reed, Cassie and Debbie McKutcheon, and John Paul Koch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Murray; brother, Wade “Buck” Koch; and sisters, Vicky Stutler, Mamie Greynolds, Birdie Brooks, Virginia Moyers.

Elva donated her body to WVU and all services will be private.
