Rev. Melburn Levurn "Pint" Hill, Sr. Obituary

Rev. Melburn Levurn “Pint” Hill, Sr., of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.  He attended the Little Rock Missionary Baptist Seminary and pastored churches in New Mexico and central Arkansas.  He was the pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas for the last 26 years, and was a dedicated servant of our Lord for 63 years.  He was a member of the Masons. He loved his family, friends, and all whom he pastored or came in contact with.  He loved to smile, be happy, and visit with people.  He never met a stranger and loved helping people.

Melburn was born on December 21, 1935, in Paragould Arkansas, to William Warren Hill and Roxie Hill.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and two brothers, and is survived by two sisters, Addie Mae Holmes of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Barbara Crawford of Ceres, California. 

Melburn is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Carolyn Williams Hill, his son, Melburn L. Hill, Jr. (Patricia), of Lonoke, Arkansas, his daughter, Carolyn Wilson of Madison, Mississippi, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grand-children, and many extended family members.

Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, Arkansas, will be handling the service arrangements.  Both visitation and the funeral service will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 501 N. Lincoln Street, Cabot, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020 with Funeral services at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Interment will be at Sumner Cemetary, Cabot Arkansas.
