Raymond N. Conklin
Raymond N. Conklin, 69, of Plainfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 16, 1951 in Mechanicsburg to the late Raymond Shelton and Pauline (Brunner) Conklin. Raymond was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1299 where he enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with friends. He honorably served his country in the US Navy and was awarded two silver stars and a purple heart as a result of his service in Vietnam. Raymond loved Penn State Football and his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Doris Mae Conklin of Plainfield; three sons, Mark (wife Tara) Conklin of Carlisle, Michael Conklin (fiancée Yenny Peralta)(Bayonne, NJ), and Matt Conklin of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Cambriea, Hannah, Logan, Nevada, and Jaezlee Conklin; three great-grandchildren, Darian, Camdyn, and D’Kari Boyles; and one brother, Jeffrey (wife Terrie) Conklin of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Nedra. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
