<p><strong>Latnie E. Geary, 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at the Heartford House Hospice of Western Kentucky.&nbsp; He was born in Welchs Creek, Ky. on Feb. 6, 1937 to the late Elic and Etta Embry Geary.&nbsp; Latnie was a farmer and retired from General Electric.&nbsp; He loved taking care of his cattle and gardening.&nbsp; Latnie will be fondly remembered by his knee slapping laugh and smile.&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Delphie Geary and Vivia Casey; brother Vernie Geary and nephew Jerry Casey.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>He is survived by his nieces and nephew Brenda Geary Smith, Paula Geary Rogers and James Casey; very special friend and dear to his heart, Patsy Brown and her family; special neighbor and friend Emmanuel Embry.</strong></p> <p><strong>A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.&nbsp; Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</strong></p> <p><strong>In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn.&nbsp; 38105.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
