<p><strong>Eloise McRee Lewis Butler, 85, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. Lewis and Delcie Register Lewis, her husband, Tommy Rufus Butler Jr. and two brothers, Tommy G. Lewis and Willie C. Lewis. Eloise leaves behind one son, Tommy Butler (April) of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Debby Davis of Bladenboro; two brothers: Hubert Lewis (Patsy) of Elizabethtown; Jimmy Lewis (Jann) of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren: Thomas Davis (Amy), Timothy Davis, Hannah Butler, Sarah Mauger and Robert Mauger, two great grandchildren, Thomas Davis Jr. and Jacob Davis and several nieces and nephews.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;Eloise was a kind, sweet and very soft-spoken lady. She cherished the Lord and her family dearly. Eloise spent most of her life playing the piano in church. She had a perfect attendance record for 63 years. &nbsp;Eloise worked for the U.S. government at the post office and the Selective Service System for 52 years. She will eternally be remembered for her humble, loving spirit.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in the Elizabethtown Cemetery with Rev. Neil Smith officiating. All attendees are asked to wear masks due to the COVID 19 epidemic.</strong></p> <p><strong>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Judes Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital.</strong></p>

Eloise McRee Lewis Butler, 85, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B.
