Wayne Stewart

STEWART – Wayne Passed away with his family by his side, at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday September 15, 2020, at the age of 74 years. Forever missed by his wife Wanda of 52 years and by his children Lisa, Tammi (Rick) and Clint (Terri-Lynn). Much loved Poppa of Cody and Shanelle. Wayne is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Eileen and will be forever remembered by his siblings Gail (Robert), Dennis (Donna), Donna (Scott) and Karen. Wayne was always there to lend a hand to those whoever asked. He could usually be found at home working on his tractors or “tinkering” in the garage. If he wasn’t at home you could likely find him at McDonald’s enjoying a coffee and a muffin. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Acosta, Liza, Caroline, Sydney and the caring staff of the Hamilton General CCU. Friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford on Thursday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A private funeral service will be held. Interment to follow, Farringdon Burial Ground. In keeping with Covid-19 pandemic protocol social distancing and face coverings are mandatory. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to Hamilton General Hospital CCU. Thank you Mel. We actually played Crazy when they were bringing him into the chapel. Seemed fitting.
