<p>Rita Elaine Cook, 54, of Poland passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on February 1, 1966 to Charles and Norma (Smith) Cook.</p> <p>Rita graduated from Owen Valley High School class of 1984. She loved reading and enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano and accordion.</p> <p>Rita is survived by her mother, Norma Lou Cook; brother, John Cook (Christina); three nieces, Payton Owens (Jordan), Mackenzie Cook (Cory Kinser) and Kelsey Buchanan; nephew, Cody Gaunt; and great nephew, Easton Owens.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her father Charles Cook and brother William Cook.</p> <p>Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at West &amp; Parrish &amp; Pedigo Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Latham officiating. Interment will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Poland.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.</p> <p>Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.westparrishpedigo.com</p>
