<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">At 12:45 PM, September 16th, 2020, Mrs. Lena Florence Harrison Milligan transitioned peacefully from her hard work and labor on her Earthly home to her heavenly home with her loved ones by her side. Lena was born on January 9th, 1949, to the late James Johnson Sr. and Mary Keys Johnson.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">Due to her disability at birth, Lena move to Spartanburg, South Carolina, where she received her education at State South Carolina School For The Deaf and the Blind. After graduating, she became employed with the South Carolina Commission of the Blind in Columbia, South Carolina as an Aide teaching braille an assisting the clients anyway possible.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">Mrs. Lena was involved in her church family.&nbsp; She grew up in a strict tightknit Christian environment which made her fond of God. The teaching and love for Jesus Christ continued as she got older, which led to Mrs. Lena receiving Christ in her 20&#39;s, becoming a member of the Saint Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, which was under the leadership of Reverend Harris at the time. During this time, she met Harry &quot;Cigar&quot; Milligan. This encounter blossomed into a 40-year union of friendship, loyalty,&nbsp; genuine love for each other, but most importantly, they shared a bond for Jesus Christ.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">She was preceded in the death by her parents, James and Mary Johnson; mother-in-law, Susie Milligan; her brothers, Edward Leroy Johnson and&nbsp; James Johnson Jr.; her sisters, Sally Johnson, Nancy Johnson Woody and Gayle &quot;Lil Bit&quot; Roach; a sister-in-law, Magnolia Francis and a brother-in-law, Clint Bowmen.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">Lena leaves to cherish her precious love and memories her husband, Harry &quot;Cigar&quot; Milligan; daughters, Judy (Willie) Pough of Elgin, SC, Latashia (Lance) Hariston of Cassatt, SC and Harriet Milligan of Columbia,SC; her grandchildren, Ante, Antonio, Eran, Shakeya, Terrance, Tyrese, Daeshawn and Deja; her great-grandchildren, Iyonna, Quiana, Dreeme, Makayla, Marcus, Jamal, Jylil and Lee; her sisters, Francis Thomas of Camden SC, Viola Johnson of Wilmington DE, Dayle (Terry) Atkins of CamdenSC, and Mary Johnson of Camden SC; her brothers, Richard Johnson of Wilmington, DE, and Thomas (Delois) Johnson of Charlotte, NC; her sisters- in-law, Oleitha Bowman and Rose(Lenwood) Williams both of Columbia SC; special friend, Dorthy Tucker; special cousins: Dana Keys,&nbsp; Minister Deloris Stuckey, Bernice Canty, Wilene Johnson and Margrett Johnson and Pasty Ann Pollard and countless nephews, nieces, friends and family that shared a special bond with Mrs. Lena Florence Milligan.</span></p>
