Glenda Mae Lord, age 80 of Garfield, KY died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Campton, KY on May 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Arnold and Anna Mae Fugate Brewer. Glenda worked as a waitress for over 20 years and many years in a factory. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and watching Christian television. She always made sure she gave to others, rather than taking. She was a very good woman who was adored by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Raymond Henson and stepchildren Rodney Lord and Tammy Blackwell.

Glenda is survived by her husband John Franklin Lord of Garfield, KY

4 children: Ronald Henson (Cynthia Miller) of Garfield, KY, Randy Henson (Goldie), Ricky Henson and Brenda Henson (Joseph Huff) of Dayton, Ohio

3 step children: Vince Edward Lord (Vicky) of Kulman, AL, John Daniel Lord and Lorie Ann Mims (Dean) of Birmingham, AL

49 grandchildren and great grandchildren

1 half brother: Raymond Lee Dunn of Campton, KY

4 sisters: Lois Griffin of Garfield, KY, Mary Elizabeth Carroll (Jimmy) and Loretta Sills (Troy) of Campton, KY, Glorie Fay Kinard of Dayton, OH

Walk through viewing will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:30 - 4 PM central time. Cremation will follow.
