<p>Elsa &ndash; Francisco &ldquo;Pancho&rdquo; Sanchez, 87, passed away to be with our Lord September 15, 2020 at Retama Manor Nursing Home in Edinburg. Francisco was born August 20, 1933 to Basilio and Eustolia Sanchez in Goliad, TX. Francisco was a truck driver and worked at Rogers Produce and Allred Produce. He also distributed produce to local businesses in Elsa and the Delta Area. He married his wife, Gloria, on June 5, 1966. Pancho was a man of a few words, hardworking, kind and humble. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (GPO), and great-grandfather. He is survived by his two daughters, Belinda (Jorge) Ramirez from Edinburg, and Leticia (Joe) Martinez from Edcouch. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joe, Samantha, and Jacob Martinez from Edcouch, and Jorge and Frank Ramirez from Edinburg; and great-grandchild Jaden Rey Martinez. Also surviving him are his siblings, Guadalupe Sanchez from Edcouch, Pio Sanchez from Elsa, and Paula Jimenez from Brownsville.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Sanchez, his parents, Basilio and Eustolia Sanchez, brothers Lino Sanchez, Maria Sanchez, and Nato Sanchez.</p> <p>Viewing will be Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Jerry Rosa officiating at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.</p>
